Lithuania: The pleasure boat was successfully introduced to guests and citizens of Kaunas city

During the solemn ceremony the pleasure boat Kaunas was successfully introduced to guests and citizens of the city on December, 2014

According to the director of the company Nemunas Travel, the boat meets all the safety requirements of the European Union.

The boat can hold about 40 passengers and will sail short distances on the Nemunas, Nėris and Nevėžis Rivers.

The boat Kaunas will start its regular sailing in spring 2015. The duration of the trip will be about 1-1.5 hours during which the passengers will be provided an opportunity to explore the surroundings of Kaunas City starting from the Old Town pier established near Vytautas the Great Church.

The construction of the boat started in winter 2013. The length of self-propelled pontoon single deck boat Kaunas is 12.5 meters and the width is 4.3 meters. The boat can seek speed of 18-20 km/h.
