By Fatal, full of strain events of the January 1991 shall be remembered by the opening in „Prospekto“ gallery of photography exhibition The night of freedom defence.
During those January days and nights, peaceful people of Lithuania hoping to see free Lithuania were on duty by the Lithuanian Parliament – the heart of Lithuania, and protected press palace, TV tower, Radio and television committee, the entire Lithuania said good-bye to bloody victims of the night of the 13th January – it is only the part, but very important piece of the historical trip to Independence, to that day which is tried to be reflected in the exhibition of selected from thousand pictures.
The exhibition will be open until January 30. Exhibition admission is free:
