Ukraine: Maksym Krippa introduces Maincast TV Channels and streaming platform

The National Council for Television and Radio Broadcasting officially approved an ambitious project by LLC Maincast on November 7, 2024, as highlighted by the Ukrainian Prostir portal. Backed by renowned entrepreneur Maksym Krippa as a key investor, the company is preparing to launch two innovative TV channels—Maincast and Maincast Sport. Scheduled to begin broadcasting on November 30, 2024, the channels will deliver content via cable networks and OTT platforms.

Focusing on audience-centric content

Maincast Sport is designed to be a premier destination for live sports coverage, with a particular emphasis on international competitions. The channel aims to highlight Ukrainian athletes’ achievements and draw global attention to national teams and their accomplishments.

Maincast, catering to a diverse viewership, will deliver a rich mix of entertainment programs, cultural showcases, and analytical segments. Both channels will exclusively broadcast in Ukrainian, promoting cultural identity and enriching the country’s media landscape.

Advancing digital Media with Maincast.tv

In addition to television, Maincast will introduce the OTT platform Maincast.tv, a modern solution for sports and entertainment content. Co-founder Vitaliy Volochay said the platform represents a significant leap in advancing Ukrainian-language media. Offering features such as interactive analytics and unique programming tailored to local audiences, Maincast.tv aims to redefine how viewers engage with content.

A step toward Maksym Krippa’s broader vision

For Maksym Krippa, these initiatives are part of a larger strategy to invest in cutting-edge digital ventures. Already a driving force behind iconic projects such as NAVI and GSC Game World—the creators of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series—Krippa continues to expand his influence across the media and esports industries.

Strengthening Ukraine’s media presence

Maincast’s new channels and platform provide a foundation for advancing Ukrainian-language content and position the country as a key player in global media innovation. By merging cultural promotion with technological advancement, Maksym Krippa cements his role as a visionary leader in shaping the future of Ukraine’s media landscape.
