The European Press Prize is now open for entries for the 2022 edition

Every year, the European Press Prize salutes and encourages achievements in European journalism

The Prize is awarded in four different categories. Each award is for 10,000 euros, to be spent wherever possible on a personal project that may, in turn, enrich the practice of journalism. 

The Investigative Reporting Award: for discovering and revealing facts, exposing hidden news to the public.

The Distinguished Reporting Award: for exceptional reporting, telling a story in the best possible way The Public.

Discourse Award: for a remarkable textual interpretation of the world we live in

The Innovation Award: for challenging the current boundaries of journalism by finding new ways to engage with audiences.

Eligible entries must have been published between December 1, 2020, and December 31, 2021. Entering is free and all entries can be submitted in their original language – entries only must include a 250 word summary in English.
