Baltic Sea, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Sassnitz, Rügenisland, Germany.

Saßnitz Ostmole 1937 (station established 1904). Active; focal plane 15 m (49 ft); white, red, or green light, depending on direction, occulting once every 6 s. 12 m (40 ft) tapered octagonal cast iron tower with lantern and gallery, painted green with one white horizontal band. 6th order Fresnel lens in use.

This lighthouse stands at the end of the 1500 m (0.9 mi) east mole at the harbor entrance; accessible by walking the mole.
