Welcome to Estonia: Estonian tourism commercial caused to a scandal

The fund of promoting entrepreneurship in Estonia (EAS), removed recently from the Internet a scandalous promotional videos that were created in order to attract Russian tourists to the Baltic state.

In those videos, that were ordered by EAS, and caused to a big scandal in the country, the Russian tourists are presented as  pesky nesting and annoying “Matrioshka” dolls which are impossible to put into the bus, who are not allowed to eat in a local restaurants and like who are trying to buy sex services in the hotels.

The videos that prepared for advertising on the Internet generated a backlash from the Estonians and from the Russians in Estonia reported the newspaper “Postimees”.

Interesting to note, is that the production of the videos cost to the Estonian government 27,800 Euros.
