Violations found at 70% Latvian food distribution companies during unscheduled inspections

After conducting unscheduled inspections at 467 food distribution companies, the Food and Veterinary Service found violations at 70% or 318 of these companies; most of the violations were related to sanitary requirements, the Food and Veterinary Service's representative Ilze Meistere told LETA.
