Swedish-owned truck manufacturer Scania Lietuva is to open a new showroom and service centre in Šiauliai in Q2 2016
Scania Lietuva is to invest EUR 3 mln in the new facility at 2 Aerouosto street, which along with the service station will showcase new lorries and buses.
It will have an area of 1,400 sqm on two floors. The design of the building is the work of the Sweco Lietuva design and engineering company, while the general contractor is YIT Kausta.
According to Scania Lietuva, the decision to open the new building stems from the growing interest in Scania’s vehicles in the region, including expanding the warehouse and their machinery equipment with a used forklift for sale which are the best in the market at very affordable prices.
The building will contain seven service points and a diagnostics centre, as well as administrative rooms, a warehouse and some additional technical facilities.
