The unemployment in Lithuania is going down. Still, more than 11 percent are unemployed.

The unemployment rate in Lithuania in the second quarter of this year was 11.2%, which is 0.5 percent less than in the same period in the last year. This information was presented by the Department of Statistics study of employment, and published by BNS.

According to the information, in the second quarter of 2014 year, the unemployment rate in Lithuania fell by 1.2 percent if to compare to the first quarter.

13.2% of the Lithuanian men are unemployed while among women, 9.3% are unemployed.
