Eurovision: Lithuanian duo Monika Linkytė and Vaidas Baumila makes it into finals

Lithuanian duo Monika Linkytė and Vaidas Baumila made it into the finals of the Eurovision song contest

On Thursday, in the second semi-finals of the contests, Lithuanian singers got the first spot. They performed a lively love song “This time”, written by the singer Monika Liubinaitė and composer Vytautas Bikus

Representatives of 17 countries performed in the semi-finals on Thursday, ten of them made it into the finals: Lithuania, Poland, Slovenia, Sweden, Norway, Montenegro, Cyprus, Azerbaijan, Latvia and Israel.

In the first semi-finals on Tuesday singers from Estonia, Georgia, Armenia, Russia, Romania, Hungary, Greece, Belgium, Serbia and Albania reached the finals.

The finals of the 60th Eurovision song contests will take place in Vienna, Austria, where singers from 27 countries will perform their songs.
