0

Estonian Air informs that from 12 January 2015, Light and Eco ticket holders will be charged 10 euros for checking in at the check-in counter when starting their flight from Kiev, Moscow and St Petersburg. Light and Eco ticket holders can check in free of charge online or order automated check-in

The check-in fee does not apply to passengers holding Flex or Business ticket, SAS Eurobonus Silver, Gold and Platinum card holders irrespective of travel class, passengers effected by a flight interruption (excluding schedule change), passengers travelling as part of a group, passengers with reduced mobility (including accompanying passengers from the same booking, unaccompanied minors etc.) who can still check in free of charge at the check-in counter at the airport.

Transfer passengers who commence their journey on other airlines’ operated flights and connect on the same day onto Estonian Air operated flight may check-in free of charge at the transfer airport check-in desk, transfer service centre or at the gate.

Web check-in is available 36 hours and until 45 minutes before scheduled departure for all Estonian Air flights.

For automated check-in passengers have to enter their mobile phone number during booking process. Phone number can also be added later to the booking via My booking on Estonian Air website. Passengers will receive automatic check-in confirmation with the link to the boarding pass on their mobile phone at 7 p.m. in the previous evening if their flight departs between 00.01-18.59, or at 8 a.m. if their flight departs between 19.00-23.59.

Passengers starting their trip from Kiev, Moscow and St Petersburg must present printed boarding pass as this is required by the local boarder and security control. Printed boarding pass can be obtained at the check-in counter.

Passengers who have checked in but have no possibility to print out the boarding pass, can print it free of charge at the check-in kiosk or request it from the check-in counter or baggage drop-off desk at the airport. The print out of the boarding pass is not needed if a passenger has a phone where the bar code of the boarding pass is readable.

Passengers can use web and automated check-in with both registered and hand baggage. Passengers with hand baggage only can proceed straight to the security check at the airport; registered baggage must be taken to the check-in counter on the day of departure.
