By Europe´s largest open air festival with free entrance! First acts announced at Donauinselfest 26th to 28th of Juni 2015. Artistic variety at the 32nd Donauinselfest: ANASTACIA, NAZAR & more
A kaleidoscope of various acts of music and entertainments will be presented at the 32nd Donauinselfest: In addition to numerous offers of sportive- and family entertainments, the first musical highlights prove that the organisers of the Donauinselfest took care for a versatile offer of different music genres.
Diversity and social democracy (organisers: SPÖ) stand for Vienna and are also responsible for the uniqueness of this open-air festival throughout Europe.
US Singer ANASTACIA, who has been honoured with more than 30 awards, will be an international highlight on the Wien Energie/Radio Wien main stage.
On the same stage, OPUS, whose hit „Live Is Life“ belongs to the most successfull exports of austrian pop music, will inspire the audience.
The Swedish artist ARON CHUPA and the Austrian DJ Rene Rodrigezz enter the spark7/ENERGY – stage to entertain the audience, like TEES UHLMANN from Germany and the Austrian, awarded rapper NAZAR will do on the Radio FM4/Planet.tt stage.
Further famous acts are the Scottish band MIDDLE OF THE ROAD, whose hit „Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep“ is a classic, and the Carinthian NOCKALM QUINTETT, both coming on Radio Niederösterreich Schlager- und Oldies stage.
The folk-pop band DAWA, whose current release „Psithurisma“ is highly appreciated by medias and audience (DAWA received the 2nd place at the preliminary decision in the question of the Austrian participation at the Eurovision Song Contest), the Soul-Band „5/8erl in Ehr´n“ and cabaret artist Andrea Händler honour the Ö1 Kulturzelt.
