The 23-year old Lithuanian basketball player Donatas Motiejūnas who is playing for Huston Rockets in NBA was sent for the third time in his career to play in the NBA Development League. This time, the 213cm high Lithuanian will play for “Rio Grande Valley Vipers”.
The stats of Motiejūnas who was a bench player in his team during this season was 2.7 points, 1.5 rebounds during 8.3 minutes in average and did not find his place in the squad. The Lithuanian who played this year in 17 games said that he does not know if he is going to continue to play next season for the “Rockets”. “Now at least I am happy that I can play – in 2013” added Motiejūnas who hoped to get more playing minutes in NBA league.
