Finland is celebrating its 100th birthday on Wednesday, and Stenbock House, the seat of the Estonian government, which faces north toward the Gulf of Finland on the edge of Tallinn’s Toompea Hill, was lit up white and blue beginning Tuesday night in honor of the occasion.

On Wednesday morning, just before 9 a.m., Estonian government leaders and choir singers also greeted Finland by gathering in front of the Finnish Embassy and singing the Finnish national anthem.

The singing of the anthem was broadcast live on ETV and Finnish television.
