Well-known people of Lithuania express their appreciation for the possibility of being part of the EU

Lithuania’s public figures join the Thank you campaign launched under the Centennial Celebration Programme to express their gratitude to their fellow countrymen for having taken the firm resolution to become full-fledged members of the European Union.

Famous Lithuanian singer Monika Linkytńó, having represented Lithuania in the Eurovision Song Contest together with Vaidas Baumila two years ago, expresses gratitude for the opportunities that have opened up for the country since its accession to the EU.

According to the young talent, this has also opened up the road for her to get to the reputable BIMM (British and Irish Modern Music Institute) and to share the invaluable experience gained there with her fans and friends when back in Lithuania.
